CARIS has built a strong history of compliance and process assessments in the healthcare industry.  We have a proven approach that identifies issues, inefficiencies and the missed opportunities within an organization while determining whether or not the entity is in compliance with the regulations they are impacted by.

 

CARIS Innovation, Inc. ("CARIS") is a healthcare consulting firm launched in 2003 by co-owners Carrie Romandine and Chris Duprey to bring solutions to the healthcare industry. Each owner brings 19 years of healthcare experience enabling us to provide innovative solutions to our clients.

 

CARIS' experience in healthcare includes project management, business analysis, HIPAA compliance and product innovation.

 

Our project management experience has included the management of projects for all sizes of initiatives. From the smallest initiatives to multi-million dollar projects, ensuring on time deliverables while maintaining budget expectations.

 

Our business review practice has assisted organizations with their strategic focus, financial planning, and business organization efficiency.  We have assisted providers in the negotiation of their payer contracts, review of business practices and pricing for services including county contracts, third party payers, and self-pay fees.  This practice assists our client in operating more efficiently, realizing administrative savings and increasing their profit margins.

 


Chris Duprey
 

Chris Duprey is the Vice President and Co-Owner of CARIS Innovation, Inc. Chris has over 19 years of health care experience including the past six years consulting many organizations in the public and private sector through their HIPAA initiatives in assessment, planning and execution.  Chris has also performed business analysis for hospital practices to reduce the overall accounts receivable outstanding, streamline business processes to be more efficient and increase awareness to employees to eliminate waste within their processes.  Chris spent 13 years focused on the plan side of healthcare prior to becoming a consultant in various operation and management positions.

Carrie Romandine is the President and Co-Owner of CARIS Innovation, Inc. Prior to starting up CARIS Innovation, Carrie held a Director of Product Innovation position for Humana Inc., a fortune 500 company.  She has over 17 years in the healthcare field with the most recent being in the product innovation center creating and implementing new product and tool solutions for employers, employees and providers.
